A blog with email - by the Twitter user called MichaelNozbe
Hello here in the new place.
I decided to replace my blog at www.sliwinski.biz with this new blog at posterous.com.
I just like the fact that it's a simple email message and that it works. I don't have to worry about Wordpress updates, tweaks, settings, I just prepare an email, send it and that's it - my new blog post is posted!
Hope you like my new blog and if you do - please follow me on Twitter: http://twitter.com/MichaelNozbe
Cheers!
- Michael

posterous.com is cool, although you can use ping.fm to post both to Blogger and WordPress

Thanks for the comment Robert. Yes, I know you can "hack" to post emails to Wordpress, etc.
The thing is, posterous is so dead easy that I just decided to switch to make sure I actually don't have to do almost anything to maintain my blog - all I have to do is just send emails and the blog posts (or comments) are posted. Nothing more.
This helps me focus only on the content of the blog, not the blog itself. And it's a relief. And keeps me motivated to blog and releases my barrier of entry into serious blogging :-)

You can actually hack Wordpress and Blogger with Posterous the same way as with Ping.fm Posting via e-mail is also possible. Have you ever used Ping.fm? I'm still deciding whether start blogging via Posterous, Ping.fm or something else.

I haven't used ping.fm so I wouldn't know if it's better or different.
Just decided to go with posterous for its ease of use. Already prepared two blog posts that are waiting in my mail "Drafts" folder - one will be sent today around 8 AM EST :-)
I'm replying to this comment also via email.
Anyway, just dig the simplicity of posterous so far, let's see how it works after a few weeks of blogging, but I'm loving the experience and I'm very motivated to blog more.
