Ever since I got the iPhone 15 Pro I’ve been loving the new Action button and I keep inventing ideas how to use it even more. I’ve added many Shortcuts to it, like Journaling, Watch Notes, Dice and others… and recently I came up with a very cool idea - how to finally build my very own Clipboard manager using Shortcuts that takes advantage of the Action button, adds very useful features and the result is… glorious - and you can get it for free below:

Finally decided to record a long-form video on my new YouTube channel featuring two Michaels arguing about meetings. Here’s the video and full script below. Do you also agree that meetings should be regular, optional and well prepared? just like we do at Nozbe?

I’ve just come back home from a trip to Taiwan 🇹🇼 where I’ve had lots of great experiences, met my co-worker Emilia and experienced a major earthquake. What’s really important is that I’ve learned a lot during this trip, especially that it was to such an efficient-running and well-organized place like Taiwan. Here are a few shorts I recorded and published my new @MichaelTeam YouTube Channel during this trip:

A few years back I got my first drone from DJI Mavic series - Mavic Air - and while it was a fun novelty, it didn’t get me to fly a drone much. However last year I upgraded to Mini 3 Pro drone and this one got me hooked. Here’s my short review of this drone: why I love it so much, why even my family likes it when I fly it and how I use it.

I’ve been on and off YouTube for a long time. I’ve had my Productive! Show back in the day when I was running Productive! Magazine, but I never stuck to it. Our official Nozbe YouTube Channel is OK, but my team finally convinced me to try posting “Shorts/Reels” on both my Instagram and my new @MichaelTeam YouTube Channel and after more than a week here are the 10 videos I posted:

Last week posted a short video on my new YouTube channel about playing tennis in the middle of the workday. The video wasn’t meant to show off my fantastic lifestyle of being able to take a break in the middle of a Wednesday for some sports, but to highlight that in my company, Nozbe everyone can do that. Everyone has that flexibility:

Exactly 7 years ago today, I took ownership of my first ever new car. I remember being very apprehensive about getting such an expensive car, even though I had a unique opportunity of getting it at significant discount. I was studying its price list very diligently trying to find the perfect balance of specs, extras and value for money. Turns out, this car has aged exceedingly well and not only do I keep driving my family in it today, but we are immensely enjoying it. Here are 7 outstanding features that I still enjoy after 7 years of ownership of Audi Q7:

Last week, on February 1, Nozbe turned 17 years old and as I reflect over these last years I’d like to dig deeper into who is Nozbe really for? While working with Seth Godin’s marketing book I was thinking how to really convey to our current and future customers what we as Nozbe believe in. What’s our why? Because people don’t buy what you do, they buy why you do it. Not only our core values but also how we work, how we’re remote first, we don’t use email to collaborate, or have very few meetings. How to create this tension and play with status. How to say that people like us do things like this. Being a productivity nerd and loving the SMART acronym for goal setting, I decided to piggy-back on it and create my own way.

This is my 10th yearly review. 2023 was yet another challenging year, but in a good way. I’ve re-discovered the power of slow but consistent iteration and this has been a theme all year long to me:

Hello and Happy New Year 2024! Today is day 1 and I’m starting off this year with an update to my travel pouch and backpack, now that I’ve upgraded my trusty iPhone 13 Mini to USB-C powered iPhone 15 Pro. This changed helped me to streamline my setup and get rid of many Lightning dongles:
